Ingredients

400g Frozen Potato Gems

30g Lactose-Free Butter

1 1/2 tbsp Plain Flour

250ml Lactose-Free Milk
-
80g Lactose-Free Coarsely Grated Cheddar

Chopped crispy bacon, to serve

Fresh chives, chopped, to serve
Directions
Preheat your oven to 200°C/180°C. Spread the potato gems on a large baking tray and bake for 20 minutes until crisp. Allow to cool slightly.
While the potatoes are baking, melt the butter in a 20cm ovenproof frying pan over medium heat. Add the flour and cook, stirring constantly for 1 minute. Gradually pour in the milk, stirring well after each addition until the mixture is smooth. Bring to a simmer and cook for 2 minutes. Add the cheddar and stir until melted.
Place the baked potato gems over the cheese sauce in the frying pan. Bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the dish is bubbling.
Finish by sprinkling with bacon and chives before serving.
